Bastrop Runoff Voting Starts Monday!

The long awaited runoff for the Bastrop City Council, Place 3 is coming with Early Voting starting Monday, June 5th and Election Day on Saturday, June 17th.

This is the first runoff election in the City of Bastrop’s history!

We are supporting Lyle Nelson in this runoff. Here’s Lyle with his wife Jennifer and family. He’s a dad and granddad and is incredibly qualified to serve the residents of Bastrop.

The City of Bastrop is getting back on track. Lyle will be a great addition!

From Lyle’s website:

Army service, a career in public transportation or recent service as president of the Hunters Crossing Homeowners Association — Lyle has consistently demonstrated a full-out embrace of his responsibilities and service with distinction.

“It’s just the way I’m wired, the way I was raised and the way that gives me great satisfaction,” he states.  “It’s who I am and what you can expect of me as your City Council representative and advocate.”
